Tender description
The Contracting Authority requests tenders for the provision of technical services to undertake a study on private forest certification in Ireland. The study will make recommendations to increase the uptake of certification in the private sector, assess the impact of certification on market accessibility and future wood mobilisation. The completion of this study will support the work of the COFORD Roundwood Forecasting and Wood Mobilisation Group. The group was established to, inter alia, identify and make recommendations to address barriers to wood mobilisation from Irish forests.
