Tender description
AgorIP is currently assisting on the creation of an app called PAUSEBeat (PB), which is an app, combined with hardware (a wearable heart rate monitor and headphones). If a child is overwhelmed in class, PB guides him or her through a number of exercises that have been shown to reduce a person’s heart rate. Research has shown that slowing someone’s heart rate is an effective way of also reducing overwhelming negative emotions such as anger or fear. A child can therefore use PB to quickly calm him/herself without needing to leave the classroom, then quickly re-engage with their lesson once they return to a calm state. You must ensure that you provide responses to the attached Questions document with your quotation submission.
