Procurement of museum collection storage systems (cabinets)

Tender description

National Museums Scotland is seeking to procure the supply and installation of new storage systems (cabinets) at National Museums Collection Centre, Granton, Edinburgh, a site holding over 12.4 million objects. The new storage systems are for two specific collections: Technology collections and Natural Sciences collections. Lot 1: Supply of 96 new cabinets for Technology collections at National Museums Collection Centre, Edinburgh We are seeking the supply and install of 96 new cabinets for Technology collections. The cabinets will be installed on existing bases at National Museums Collection Centre in Granton Edinburgh. The specifications for the cabinets (design, size, quality) and installation are set out in the attached Invitation to Tender document. Lot 2: Supply of 6 new cabinets for Natural Sciences collections at National Museums Collection Centre, Edinburgh We are seeking the supply and install of 6 new cabinets for Natural Sciences collections. The cabinets will be installed on existing bases at National Museums Collection Centre in Granton Edinburgh. The specifications for the cabinets (design, size, quality) and installation are set out in the attached Invitation to Tender document.
