PCC wishes to invite tenders for the establishment of a framework agreement available to Police Forces in the North West Region, for the hire of second hand vehicles. This opportunity is for the spot hire of vehicles for covert purposes on an as and when basis for varying lengths of hire period. The vehicles will have an operational aspect to them in that they will be used by police officers for duties ranging from covert surveillance for intelligence gathering. Tenderers should note that this is a separate arrangement to that of hire for staff self drive vehicles for non-operational purposes and is not a long term leasing arrangement. Lot 1 covers the Geographic area of Cheshire. Lot 3 covers the geographic area of Lancashire for a framework agreement made available to Police Forces in North West Region, for the hire of second hand vehicles. This opportunity is for the spot hire of vehicles for covert purposes for varying lengths of hire period. The vehicles will have an operational aspect to them in that they will be used by police officers only and is a separate agreement to that of the non operational hire agreement. Lot 4 covers the geographic area of Merseyside for a framework agreement made available to Police Forces in North West Region, for the hire of second hand vehicles. This opportunity is for the spot hire of vehicles for covert purposes for varying lengths of hire period. The vehicles will have an operational aspect to them in that they will be used by police officers only and is a separate agreement to that of the non operational hire agreement.
