Merseyside VRP Hospital Intervention 'Navigator' Programme

Tender description

MVRP is commissioning a 'Navigator' Hospital Intervention Service across two NHS Trust Hospitals this comprises of Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust and Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. There is the ability to have a dedicated service at Alder Hey and either Aintree or Royal Liverpool, and the Service will need to ensure appropriate coverage and visibility across at least two of those sites. The average road distance between the three sites is 5 miles, with an average car travel time of 20 minutes. MVRP appreciate visibility will be based on identified demand and capacity of the Service, but there is an expectation that a robust referral process is established where physical presence of Navigators is not available.
