Tender description

Northumbria University require a new GRIM system to replace our two older models as they are both extremely slow to process and are unable to be used to contribute to research since they do not meet forensic science standards/guidelines. A newer system with integrated statistical software would enable quicker processing of data within the lab, assisting with our high student numbers at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It would also provide us with an opportunity to be able to undertake studies on trace glass fragments and contribute internationally to world leading research within this field Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
