The London Borough or Redbridge (LBR) aims to procure and have implemented implement fleet management software which can; o provide management functionality for LBRs fleet assets, o enhance workshop productivity by reducing/eradicating paper usage, o offer a payment upfront option, and integrate with a finance system for invoices and chasing debts, o minimise vehicle downtime for repairs by monitoring proactively, o improve accident and risk management, o improve fuel usage controls, o report in real time on availability and performance of the fleet, o manage spares inventory, reporting when stocks run low, o offer a stock ordering system portal that allows the mechanics and officers in the workshop to be able to order new parts. o allow for paperless defect reporting for LBR fleet e.g. using black boxes, o driver management, risk management, and incident modules, o maintain and make available digital records of tachograph compliance.
