Assessing the Potential of Circular Biobased Construction in the North East, Yorkshire and Humber

<p>The North East, Yorkshire and Humber Energy Hub are inviting tenders from organisations who can assess the potential of bio based circular construction in the North East, Yorkshire and the Humber (&lsquo;the Region&rsquo;). The successful applicant(s) will be required to take a holistic view of the construction supply chain in the Region including, but not limited to feedstock&rsquo;s, materials, design, commissioning and contracting, construction, monitoring and evaluation. In order to provide a quantitative analysis of the potential to increase use of bio based materials and circular construction methods. In order to provide estimates of the economic, social and environmental impact of such increases on the region (e.g. jobs created/protected, resilience of local supply chains, social value impacts, health impacts, community uplift, carbon impacts, other environmental impacts).</p> Keywords: circular construction, research, bio based, decarbonisation
