ANDBC Tender for the Supply and Delivery of Youth Shelters (CYP2)

Tender description

Funded by the European Union’s PEACE IV programme, managed by the Special EU Programme Body, a programme has been developed to support local teenagers by designing and delivering three (3no) youth shelters for children and young people in appropriate areas where outreach support can be provided by a range of statutory and voluntary services. The project will be managed by Ards and North Down Borough Council in partnership with other key statutory providers and local youth/community groups and residents. We wish to appoint an organisation or an individual to supply and deliver Youth Shelters for use at specified locations within the Ards and North Down area. The locations of the Youth Shelters are: • Ards Blair Mayne Well-being Centre, Newtownards • Muckers field, Comber • Portavogie Community Centre. The location of these Youth Shelters will be in the proximity of skate-parks which are used primarily by young people aged between 8-24 years. The maximum available budget for the supply and delivery of the initial three youth shelters is £45,000.00 excluding VAT. There will be an option to purchase a maximum of three (3no) additional Youth Shelters, as specified in this tender during the contract period. This option is dependent on both funding and/or budget availability as well as Council’s operational needs.
