Tender description

Tipperary County Council has been granted funding under the Active Travel allocation for Safe Routes to School 2021 , Tipperary County Council require a consultant to deliver design services and behavioural initiatives for the selected schemes. The projects require a team that has experience in road infrastructure design and behavioural change to promote a modal shift. The schools selected in County Tipperary are both in Clonmel 1) Gaelscoil Chluain Meala 2) Loreto Secondary School. The objective of the scheme is to improve the available active travel infrastructure to access schools, create an identifiable 'School Zone' to improve safety at the school gate and encourage real behavioural change to increase the number of students walking and cycling.
