Transfer Station Baler

SWISCo, a company wholly owned by and delivering services on behalf of Torbay Council, has a requirement for a replacement baler at its waste transfer station at Tor Park Rd, Paignton TQ4 7PL. The Contract will be between SWISCo and the successful Supplier. This Contract will be for: • removal and disposal of the existing baler • any site modifications required, including to the current conveyor feed so that it is compatible with the new baler, and safety barriers • supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of the replacement baler • training of 8 staff • 5-year maintenance agreement (optional) Additional information: Full Access to Documents In order to provide unrestricted, full, direct and free of charge access to the Tender Documents the Authority is providing the Documents in PDF format in the Opportunities Area of the ProContract e-Tendering portal at www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk In order to access amendable versions of the Documents and to submit a response Applicants must be registered as Suppliers on ProContract. Applicants should then express an interest in the opportunity and download the Word and Excel format Documents for completion and submission. Access to Documents for Submission For procurement opportunities; login and navigate back to the system to express your interest by going back to the system's home page. If the opportunity does not appear automatically, you can search in the Opportunities area of the Home page. Select the opportunity and you will be taken to another screen where you can express an interest (at the top right hand side of this screen). You will need to register an interest to access the documents and submit your bid. Once you've registered an interest the opportunities will appear in the 'My Activities' tab. If you click on the opportunity you will be taken to a new screen where you can download the Word/Excel format documents, complete them and submit your response.
