<p>The role of the Town Centres Business Advocates is to promote business, support growth and unlock the economic potential of the town centres of St Helens and Earlestown in a sustainable way. The Town Centre Business Advocates will be responsible for undertaking a range of hands-on tasks to support the work of the Economic Development Team and the wider organisation in supporting high street businesses in the town centres recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. St Helens Borough Council is looking to enter into a contractual call off agreement for a period of three months with a specialist company who can provide the range of services outlined in the detailed specification, this is a temporary role to support the recovery process The activity is funded through the Welcome Back Fund, a fund from the European Regional Development Fund, and should contribute to attracting residents back into the town centres Please see Section 2 for the full tender brief As per ERDF contractual requirements the entire implementation must be completed and invoiced ahead of the 31st March 2022 deadline This is a single stage process and bidders will be required to complete the Suitability Questionnaire, the Questionnaire sets out the information which is required by the Authority in order to assess the suitability of potential Suppliers to provide the required services in terms of their technical knowledge and experience, capability/capacity, organisational and financial standing within the parameters laid out in the Regulations. Upon the satisfactory completion of the tender process the Contract will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender. This is a combination of the price/cost provision and quality/service aspects of your bid, following completion of the evaluation process.
