Tender description

South Gloucestershire Council is seeking to appoint a company to provide four Security Industry Authority (SIA) accredited Marshals to operate at specific locations within South Gloucestershire. Marshals will help to prevent incidents of anti-social behaviour, disorder and assault associated with the evening and night-time economy. Currently, Marshals operate within Chipping Sodbury High Street and Kingswood, Regent Street Taxi Rank but a flexible approach allowing redeployment to alternative locations (such as Staple Hill and Thornbury) is sought as part of this process. Hours of operation will be: Friday and Saturday night 23:30 - 03:30 in Kingswood; and on Friday and Saturday night 22:00 - 02:00 in Chipping Sodbury.
