<p>Sunderland City Council has a statutory duty to secure the provision of Independent Advocacy to specified groups of people as set out in legislation. There are Statutory Advocacy services currently in place across Sunderland that are due to end in 2022. Sunderland City Council are reviewing these commissioning arrangements with consideration to the Liberty Protection Safeguards (LPS) from April 2022. Providers are invited to complete the attached Market Engagement questionnaire which includes: Information About Your Organisation Service Model Questions Questions for commissioners If there is sufficient demand, the Council and its partners will facilitate meetings (on Microsoft Teams) with the commissioners of the Statutory Advocacy Service to discuss this opportunity.
