Framework for the supply of solar powered compacting litter bins

Tender description

Tipperary County Council (Contracting Authority) has a requirement to procure a minimum of twelve (12), 120 litre model, solar powered compacting litter bins to be located at various sites in Tipperary. These bins must include an integrated software programme, accessible through a portal, which will deliver real time data on each bin’s status. Each of the bins must be branded with Tipperary County Council’s corporate logos as specified. The Tenderer shall supply solar powered compacting litter bins to Tipperary County Council in accordance with orders placed by the Council. Tipperary County Council does not guarantee the number of bins to be ordered for purchase under the terms of this agreement, which will be funding dependent. This Framework will run for a period of up to 2 years (with the option of extending by a further one (1) year), or up to the tender limit of €214,000 (excl VAT), but no longer than 3 years in total. The solar powered compacting litter bins must be delivered and commissioned no later than 12 weeks from the placement of the order by the Contracting Authority, following award of contract. The solar powered compacting litter bins must be delivered, installed and commissioned at locations identified by the Contracting Authority. Clarification on exact sites will be confirmed by the Contracting Authority at nominated locations.
