CSI/CYP/Parenting in Diverse Communities

Tender description

The Council wishes to appoint provider(s) for the provision of parenting courses that offer support tailored to the needs of parents a range of diverse communities, particularly BAME and faith-based communities, and parent(s) experiencing social isolation and family or community violence. Courses should be offered that not only support positive parenting outcomes, including improved parenting skills and child behaviour and reduced social isolation, but do so in a way that is reflective and understanding of any particular challenges for parents from these diverse communities. Providers should look to provide a model of parenting courses where there is evidence of effective practice and positive outcomes in support of parents from diverse communities, and be able to demonstrate an ability to apply any model to the particular needs of Bristol parents.
