UK Export Finance (“the Authority”) has a potential requirement for framework agreements for political and credit risk insurance & brokerage services . The proposed procurement will entail services for the proposed framework agreement for both the Brokerage services and insurance panel in relation to political and credit risk. Lot structure: * Lot 1 Insurance brokerage services *Lot 2 Insurance panel The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is a development to publication of the Prior Information Notice (PIN) in July 2021 (Reference: https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/017283-2021 ), In July 2021, the Department for International Trade on behalf of UK Export Finance sought feedback from the supplier market on some preliminary elements of scope via qualitative questionnaire. The market engagement was effective, a broad selection of interested Potential Service providers participated through qualitative questionnaire and raised clarification questions. This approach allowed the Authority to gain some insights and test the market’s capacity and capability to deliver the requirement as currently described. The approach set out our initial thinking and has subsequently evolved in light of feedback received from the market, internally and lessons learned. We have been working to further refine and develop our proposition. A prospectus describing the requirement will be made available from via the jaggaer e-tendering portal to potential service providers service providers who register an interest against this PIN. e-tendering portal: https://uktrade.app.jaggaer.com/web/login.html?_ncp=1639346319199.3102286-1 Lot 1: Insurance Brokerage Services Insurance Brokerage Services • Arranging the placing of new Contracts of Insurance (as described below) • Managing communications and endorsements relating to new and existing Contracts of Insurance Political and Credit Risk Insurers The typical profile of the insurance policies is (but not limited to): • Political and Credit Risk, generally involving counterparties outside the UK • Facultative Insurance Policies (although other forms of insurance policy may be considered, eg Treaty Insurance) • Sums insured typically between £10m and £500m • Call offs to be made through direct award or further competitions c.5 times per annum • Insurance tenors between 5 and 15 years • Transactions and Premiums denominated in US Dollars or Euros Additional information: The Authority will be using the Portal to manage expressions of interest and all communications will be made through the Portal: https://uktrade.app.jaggaer.com/web/login.html This PIN is released for market sounding purposes only.
