The Provision of Thanks a Tonne

Tender description

North East Derbyshire District Council is seeking to procure an experienced and suitably qualified company to deliver the Thanks a Tonne programme to support carbon reduction across Derbyshire. The Thanks a Tonne initiative aims to help bring change within communities. It is envisaged as a competition between households, where players make small pledges which will help reduce their carbon footprint. Collectively, by implementing the pledges and over a period of time, these changes will reduce their household carbon footprint by 1 Tonne. Households will also potentially save hundreds of pounds during this period by making the cost effective and carbon reducing changes, making it a win-win situation.
