Tender description

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invite tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the collection, treatment, processing, and recycling of street cleansing residues - road sweepings. The material is generated from the Council cleansing section and bulked at two Council transfer station facilities, prior to collection. The material consists of residues collected on footpaths, roads and streets using mechanical sweepers. The contract material will contain a variety of aggregates such as road grit, sand and fine silts, stones of various sizes and litter including plastic bottles, glass, steel and aluminium cans as well as small items of litter etc. The initial contract shall be for a period of 24 Months with options, entirely at the discretion of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, to extend for two further periods each of 12 Months, Lot 1: Fermanagh and Omagh District Council invite tenders from suitably qualified contractors for the collection, treatment, processing, and recycling of street cleansing residues - road sweepings.
