Provision and Partnership of Cloud Computing in Genomics Data Science CRT

Tender description

NUI Galway invites responses to this Qualification Questionnaire from economic operators (‘Tenderers’) for the provision of the services and for establishing a partnership, via a commitment to co-fund Centre for Research Training (CRT) PhD students and becoming involved in implementing cloud computing infrastructure for genomics. NUI Galway are embarking on this tender process to support genomics research at NUI Galway and across the research performing organisations (RPOs) in CRT in Genomics Data Science (University College Cork, University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin and the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland). We aim to maximise the benefits of technological advances in cloud computing to support genomics research and future applications of genomics in Ireland. The solutions delivered will need to be future proofed to support anticipated developments and innovations in cloud computing for genomics. CRT Students based in NUI Galway, UCC, UCD, RCSI and TCD will need access to any cloud computing resources that are born from this project.
