Tender description

North Northamptonshire Council (hereafter referred to as the 'Council') and on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council wishes to invite Tender Responses for the supply of services in respect of Public Health Northamptonshire Dental Epidemiology Survey. To examine the oral health of specified population groups, as outlined in the guidance published by the Office of Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) - formerly known Public Health England (PHE). The provider will use caries diagnostic criteria and examination techniques based on those agreed by the British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry (BASCD) , for caries prevalence surveys and using sampling procedures described in BASCD guidance on sampling for surveys of Child Dental Health. The survey population is defined as per the National Dental Epidemiology programme Protocol and associated documents. The Provider will complete the minimum sample size as set out in the National Protocol. In Northamptonshire, the minimum sample size will be applied to both North and West Northamptonshire Council's. Additional to this, extended sampling will be required for each of the 7 locality areas: Corby, Kettering, East Northamptonshire, Wellingborough, Northampton, Daventry and South Northamptonshire.
