Tender description

Inviting tenders for Liability insurances coverage and associated services as required. Lot 1: Employer's Liability Indemnity liability to pay for damages and claimants' costs and expanses in respect of bodily injury caused to any employee during the period of insurance and arising out of an in the course of employment with the insured in the business. Lot 2: Public/Products Liability Indemnity liability to pay for damages and claimant's costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with; * accidental bodily injury to any person; * accidental loss of or damage to tangible property; * nuisance, trespass, obstruction or interference with an easement, right of light, air, water or way; happening during the period of insurance in connection with the business. Lot 3: Pollution Indemnity liability to pay for damages and claimant's costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with: * accidental bodily injury to any person; * accidental loss of or damage to tangible property; * nuisance, trespass, obstruction or interference with any easement, tight of light, air, water or way; happening during the period of insurance and arising out of pollution but only to the extent that the insured can demonstrate such pollution was the direct result of a sudden, identifiable, unintended and unexpected incident that takes place in its entirety at a specific time and place. Including Defence Costs within the limit of indemnity Lot 4: Officials Indemnity Indemnity against all sums the insured becomes legally liable to pay for damages and claimant's costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with any negligent act, error or omission relating to a breach of statutory duty by the insured. Including Defence Costs within the limit of indemnity Lot 5: Professional Indemnity Indemnity against all sums the insured becomes legally liable to pay for damages and claimant's costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with any: i. advice, design, consultancy, specification or formulae given or undertaken by the insured; ii. breach of professional duty by the insured. Including Defence Costs within the limit of indemnity. Lot 6: Land Charges Indemnity against all sums the insured becomes legally liable to pay for damages and claimant's costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with any negligent act or omission relating to information recorded or provided or made available on questions of fact regarding land, buildings or other records provided by the insured. Including Defence Costs within the limit of indemnity Lot 7: Public Health Act Indemnity against all sums the insured becomes legally liable to pay for damages and claimant's costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with loss of earnings by any person as a result of compliance with any public health legislation invoked by the insured. Including Defence Costs within the limit of indemnity Lot 8: Libel & Slander Indemnity against all sums the insured becomes legally liable to pay for damages and claimant's costs and expenses arising out of or in connection with the publication or utterance of a libel or slander by the insured. Including Defence Costs within the limit of indemnity.
