IRD Duhallow wishes to establish a panel of experienced business mentors, proposals for which are now invited from suitably qualified individuals / organisations.

Project Background Arising from extensive interaction with the business community, Enterprise Working Group and local Social Enterprise Groups. IRD Duhallow has identified a need for in depth one to one support for emerging and existing businesses. The economic environment has raised many challenges for existing businesses whilst rising unemployment has led many individuals to establish new business ventures. A common thread throughout is the need for continued and meaningful business support. Mentor Panel IRD Duhallow wishes to establish a panel of experienced mentors with specific skills and experience in the following areas: a) Business start up b) Business expansion and development c) Financial Management d) Legal e) Taxation f) Sales and Marketing g) Digital Innovation h) Strategic Planning i) Income Diversification Meetings between mentor and mentee may take place online, at IRD Duhallow or at one of our mentoring events. The location of mentoring sessions will be agreed between the Mentor and client and it is important to note that flexibility of the Mentor will be required in this regard. Some sessions may be held on the business premises or at another convenient location such as agreed between the mentor and client. The James O’Keeffe Institute, can be made available where agreed in advance.
