Infrastructure works at Weyside Urban Village

THIS PIN REPLACES THE PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED PIN DUE TO REVISIONS OF WORKS REQUIRED (SEPARATION OF SITE LEVELLING WORKS) Infrastructure works at WUV formed of remediation, drainage and temporary access road Lot 1: Guildford Borough Council require a main contractor to carry out the following: Enabling Works for Phases 1,2 and 3 of the Weyside Urban Village masterplan involving, the demolition of existing building and associated hardstanding, remediation of existing ground, formation of deep trench foul and surface water drainage system and associated SuDs requirements (including swales, attenuation tanks/ponds etc). It should be noted that Phase 1 includes the formation of a temporary road for the use of construction traffic for the overall masterplan. Approximate areas for phases are : Phase 1 - 32,000m2 , Phase 2 - 74,000 m2, Phase 3 - 26,000m2. The form of contract is anticipated to be either JCT or NEC. The Procedure type is anticipated to be Restricted procedure. Further information on the contract and the scope of works will be released during the PIN period which will be published via the tender portal (http://www.sesharedservices.org.uk/esourcing). The works packages are not likely to be all tendered / awarded simultaneously due to programme start and end dates.
