Crayfish Data and Management Services

Tender description

A requirement exists for Crayfish Data and Management Services in 3 Lots. The Lots are related and interdependent and include delivery of data services to inform management measures for crayfish, generating new information on crayfish habitat use and stock size, development of new low impact methods for capture of crayfish, work to reduce interactions between seals and set nets including crayfish tangle nets and gill nets and deployment and use of acoustic arrays combined with acoustic and satellite tagging of critically endangered species to monitor habitat use and identify risks of by-catch. Lot 3 will work to integrate the data and evidence acquired in Lots 1 and 2 into a new management plan for crayfish in the project area.
