Tender description
Cefas’ Electronics Team require an environmental test chamber capable of testing our products under extreme and controlled conditions of humidity and temperature. The primary requirements are as follows: • Electronic control of humidity range required is 10% - 95% RH • Electronic control of temperature range is -20°C to +100°C • Control of humidity and temperature outside of these limits will be considered • Programmable cycling option is desirable • Volume of test chamber should be a minimum of 50 litres • Electrical supply must be UK mains 230V, 50/60Hz, single phase • Data output via RS-232 or USB is desirable • Access port required to enable sensors and cabling to be passed into the test chamber • Shelf inside chamber • Maximum allowable external dimensions 2m x 1m x 1m (H x W x D) • An internal light is desirable Delivery and Installation Requirements: Please ensure that delivery lead times are contained within the proposal. It is important to Cefas that delivery is made by week ending 25th March 2022 to ensure payment by end of FY. Cefas understands that lead times on the equipment may not be able to meet this so we would consider evaluating ex-demonstration pieces of equipment that can be delivered within the above timeframe. If delivery cannot be accommodated in this timeframe, Cefas reserve the right to withdraw from the exercise or request additional documentation to be provided as evidence of ownership. The equipment is required to be delivered/installed to Cefas, Pakefield Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk. NR33 0HT. All pricing provided must be inclusive of delivery ‘INCOTERM DDP’ if item is being imported (please advise).
