<p>Buckinghamshire Council is requesting information about Accommodation Based Homeless Support Services (housing-related support to individuals with the overall outcome being to support them to obtain and maintain an appropriate, independent housing solution). The Accommodation Based Homeless Support Services objectives are to provide: &bull; A mixture of staffing models including 24 hour waking staff, Mon-Fri with some weekend cover and Mon-Fri staff cover to ensure that people are safe &bull; Stabilise and develop independence to improve health and wellbeing, increase confidence, self-esteem and to develop positive coping skills and re-establish networks/relationships &bull; Service users are motivated to make changes, starting to take first steps to recovery, motivation demonstrated through actions, commitment to recovery, full engagement with treatment and outcomes around substance use &bull; Manage and increase their income by improving budgeting skills, benefits advice and reduce debt &bull; Encourage service users to take active involvement in the support planning process including identifying their own goals. &bull; Creatively work with Service Users to achieve their goals &bull; &middot;Provide short-term accommodation with appropriate housing management and support to help people leave supported housing and move into sustainable alternative accommodation &bull; Planning for the future, including support in sourcing accommodation for move-on from pathways, developing life skills to maintain tenancies to reduce the risk of homelessness. The current contract expires in September 2022, and the Council is looking to award a new contract with sufficient mobilisation time for a smooth transition.</p> Keywords: Homelessness
