22.78.1001 - Sunnylands, Carrickfergus, Co Antrim - Special Revenue Construction Works - The project comprises a total of 135 flats, 24 communal halls and 10 commercial units in Bridewell Drive, Rosebroebrook Grove, Shaftsbury Cross and Sunnylands Grove areas within Carrickfergus, Co Antrim. The work consists of remedial work, mainly to the external elements of 135nr. flats, 10nr. Commercial units and 24nr common halls. Buildings are traditionally constructed, cavity walled, and pitched or flat roofed. Certain works, e.g. replacement of concrete window surrounds, pre and post inspections for cavity cleaning, and installation of ventilation units, which will improve the living conditions of tenants, and meet the require NIHE policies and strategies . Notwithstanding the date of the Contract(s), it is intended that the commencement date of Works by the Contractor(s) will be Summer/Autumn 2021; however this is subject to change in the Contracting Authority’s absolute discretion.
