Tender description

To supply a LWB van approximately 6.4m in length, 2.5m in height and 2.0m wide, with 14 seats (including the driver) to have the rear saloon area fitted and adapted to wheelchair inclusion and wheelchair lift. Rear floor to have tracking fitted full length to accommodate 2/3 wheelchairs. Supply and fit manual side step at side entrance door with warning buzzer when step deployed. A new vehicle with driver's seat at RHS (right hand side) of the vehicle. Driver's seat to be height adjustable. Speedometer to display KPH (kilometers per hour). Fitted with tachograph and speed limiter. Seats to be finished with PVC or other water resistant surface, with arm rests aisle side. Fit fuel heater in saloon. Wipe clean surface required. Air conditioning to vehicle as standard. Bluetooth hands free system required. Vehicle must be fitted with rear parking sensors or a reversing camera. Either devise must be automatically activated when reverse gear is engaged. Minimum manufacturer's warranty of 3 years required. Manual transmission and fuel type diesel. Vehicle to be fitted with headlight cut-off. Vehicle to be fitted with remote door locking and tinted windows in rear. Vehicle to be fitted with front and rear mud flaps and interior saloon camera kit. Wheelchair lift to be fitted to under floor of vehicle and to be fitted with manual override, with fully automatic bridge plate, lead in plate fully automatic, manual hand rails in High Viz, hand controls on rear door.
