Teenage Parents Supported Accommodation (4 units)

Tender description

Supporting People are responsible for the commissioning and monitoring of supported accommodation on the IOW for households in priority need that are homeless. The services offered range from accommodation-based services where support is provided on site to residents to resettlement support to people in their own homes. The client base for services are as follows: • Teenage parents with housing related support needs; This service is a key requirement that helps the IOW Council fulfil our statutory duties as set out within the HRA 2017. This ensures people without a place to call home are provided with the appropriate accommodation and support which reduces the risks associated to homelessness whilst helping reduce the need for people to access statutory, more costly, services.
