Tender description

Lancashire County Developments Ltd (LCDL) is a company limited by guarantee which is part of Lancashire County Council's Economic Development Service. LCDL provides accommodation solutions to businesses at White Cross Business Park, Lancaster and Lancashire Business Park, Leyland. The Business Parks are run on a commercial basis and administer a Service Charge to enable the delivery of various services for the benefit of all tenants on the estate. LCDL require a manned security service at the business parks to protect the property on site and prevent unauthorised access to the premises. Please see the Specification for further details regarding the requirements. The value of the procurement is between GBP 880 000 — GBP 950 000 for the full 5 year term. LCDL require a manned security service at the business parks to protect the property on site and prevent unauthorised access to the premises. This procurement is being undertaken as a 'light touch' (PCR 2015 Schedule 3 Services) open procedure. One service provider will be appointed across both sites. The initial contract term will be two (2) years with an option to extend the contract by any number of defined periods provided that the total contract period does not exceed 5 years.
