Tender description

The RFT aims to acquire complete coverage of the Republic of Ireland within a maximum time period of three years. The tender sets out the specification that the successful Tenderer must comply with, but does not specify the method by which the imagery is to be captured i.e. plane or satellite based sensor(s). The tender also requires that the individual bands captured and used to construct the orthoimagery must be made available to DAFM upon request along with the near infrared (NIR) band. The tender is for the provision of orthorectifed digital imagery, plus NIR band, along with a Digital Surface Model (DSM) for the Republic of Ireland (buffered) with an area of approximately 83,395 km2. The exact area to be captured is detailed in the shape file available with this RFT (BestOrthoGrid). All data provided by the successful Tenderer shall cover 100% of the Republic of Ireland in terms of land area.
