Tender description

WMCA defines Mobility as a Service as a one-stop end-user interface - normally in the form of a mobile application - with which end-users can plan, book and pay for a journey(s) across multiple transport modes, including bus, tram, train, cycling, walking, bikeshare, car club, car hire, taxi, micro-mobility, and parking. WMCA is looking for a supplier that can: 1) Deliver, run, further develop, improve, expand and maintain a commercial off-the-shelf MaaS application that can be made available to end-users travelling in the West Midlands; 2) Deliver a Minimum Viable Product ("MVP") of the MaaS application within 6 months of contract award; 3) Support, manage and monitor the MaaS application. The WMCA will be holding a Supplier Engagement Event on the 23rd February 2021 where we will share our vision for the MaaS Application in more detail. Suppliers that wish to attend the event should follow the instructions which can be located at the end of this notice. A decision not to participate in this Market Consultation Exercise will not preclude you from taking part in this opportunity, and copies of any documentation shared by WMCA at the event will be made available to all potential bidders at ITT stage.
