The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) would like to inform interested suppliers by issue of this PIN of a potential future tender opportunity for Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBS). The purpose of this PIN is to establish the measure of interest in the market for the intended goods and services (manufacture and supply of new RHIBS) and gain current market insights to help inform a subsequent procurement exercise. PLEASE NOTE: OFF PLAN OR PROTOTYPE VESSELS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS MPS REQUIREMENT. The MPS may at its sole discretion enter into discussions with respondents through this PIN. Feedback from respondents will assist the MPS in understanding the current supply market considerations around (but not limited to) capacity, capability, delivery and supplier operating models. Information provided will be used to inform the MPS in its continued development of delivery and procurement strategies for any future contracts that follow on from this PIN.
