GB-London: T1211 Defining requirements for portable TRTS / CD / RA train dispatch

Tender description

RSSB intends to procure research that aims to develop an understanding of the practicality of enabling remote connectivity of the TRTS / CD / RA equipment. It will undertake an economic and risk assessment to determine if a compelling case exists for specifiers and funders to take forward. The work is envisaged to support national consistency and industry wide roll out, reduce costs to procure a solution, and improve overall safety and performance during station operations. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
