Tender description

The contracting authority invites tenders under the accelerated open procedure for the establishment of a single party framework agreement for the provision of commercial cleaning services and periodic specialist cleaning services on a draw down basis as and when requirements arise. Due to the impact of Covid-19 and the ongoing developing situation around the spread, containment and control of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) GMIT wishes to include this requirement in the range of specialist services to be provided. The contracting authority invites tenders under the accelerated open procedure for the establishment of a single party framework agreement for the provision of commercial cleaning services and periodic specialist cleaning services on a draw down basis as and when requirements arise. Due to the impact of Covid-19 and the ongoing developing situation around the spread, containment and control of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) GMIT wishes to include this requirement in the range of specialist services to be provided. While this framework is primarily for the Galway Campus, GMIT reserves the right to award unforeseen work at the other sites should the need arise over the life of the framework. The overall scope of the framework will be to provide a comprehensive commercial cleaning service, on both a planned and a reactive basis. The framework will include on a draw down basis: • general cleaning on a daily basis, Monday to Friday, • specialist cleaning (including Pandemic related cleaning services), • deep cleaning services, • and call out cover in the event of urgent unscheduled requirements.
