Appointment of IST for Cott Lane bridge repairs and scour protection

Mid Ulster District Council are implementing remedial works to Cott Lane Bridge The proposed works to Cott Lane Bridge will include, but are not limited to, the following: • Temp Works/Access systems o Scaffolding arrangement suspended from structure, to provide access to soffits at centre spans over water. o Cofferdams to provide dry areas to Piers and Abutment. o Removal of debris at Pier. • Completion of concrete repairs o Breakout, clean and treat rebar with primer, install discrete galvanic anodes. o Provision of appropriate concrete repair mortar meeting the requirements of BSEN1504. • Resurfacing Deck o Removal of surfacing. o Prepare deck for waterproofing. o Resurfacing deck • Waterproofing deck • Scour Protection o Rip Rap Units at Piers specified to BS EN 13383-1 o Gabion mattresses between Pier and Abutment The above paragraphs are only a short description of the Works. The Tenderer shall provide the Works in accordance with the Works Information and Contract Drawings.
