Tender description

Development of the park preliminary design, at an appropriate level of detail for Part 8 submission, shall be undertaken by a suitably qualified architect. The architect shall provide details, written descriptions and drawings of the Linear Park Preliminary Design to Cork County Council/ Malachy Walsh and Partners (MWP) for inclusion in a detailed Public Consultation and Elected Members Consultation Report. The Landscape Architect shall develop the design incorporating recommendations and mitigation measures as set out in available Environmental, Archaeological and Flood Design reports and ensure the design is in compliance with Health & Safety and Stakeholder requirements. The architect shall subsequently make any necessary design amendments arising from the public consultation process/elected member consultation, and update the Preliminary Planning Design Drawings accordingly. The architect shall finalise the preliminary planning design report (PDR) and Part 8 drawings for handover to MWP to prepare a Part 8 planning application on behalf of Cork County Council. The Landscape Architect shall provide an option for progression of the design submitted for Part 8 planning to detailed design.
