<p>Liverpool City Council will shortly be going out to tender for a range of Carer Support Services that supports the health and wellbeing of all carers in Liverpool; reduce the negative impact of caring and enable carers to lead fulfilled, independent lives alongside their caring role, this includes: &bull; identification of adult carers who are caring for another adult in Liverpool, ensuring that they receive a carers assessment &bull; tailored support plans which are reviewed annually, as well as advice and information &bull; identification of young carers and young adult carers in Liverpool and ensuring that they receive a carers assessment &bull; free and independent professional advocacy for adult carers &bull; community based activities ensuring a variety of support is provided while reducing the negative impact of caring and promoting health and wellbeing. These services will apply to adult, young adult and young carers who are caring for adults in Liverpool, while also applying to adults who live in a different locality but are caring for someone living in Liverpool. Liverpool City Council (LCC) is seeking to engage with potential service providers of Carer Support Services and related activities to inform our forthcoming procurement.
