Site Security- Alarm Response and Key Holding

Tender description

The service will consist of an out of hours key holding and alarm call out response service for Ayrshire College’s Hill Street, Kilmarnock campus KA1 3HY; Nethermains, Kilwinning site KA13 6PS and the three buildings on the Dam Park, Ayr campus, KA8 0EU. The Service is for a response service to any incident e.g. alarm activation. The contractor will be required to arrive at the site when a fire or intruder alarm has been triggered. The Contractor’s staff will enter the building without the presence of either the emergency services or College staff and carry out a security sweep of the full site, locate the activated alarm and on completion of the search, re-set the alarm system on exit. The contractor will be required to arrive at the site when a fire or intruder alarm has been triggered. The Contractor’s staff will enter the building without the presence of either the emergency services or College staff and carry out a security sweep of the full site, locate the activated alarm and on completion of the search, re-set the alarm system on exit. Ideally the contractor staff should arrive on-site within an hour and all bidders are asked to give their guaranteed on-site response time as part of their tender submission.
