Procurement of an Outdoor Events Management Service under the Ancient Connections Project

Tender description

Pembrokeshire County Council wish to appoint a creative events management company to provide a complete turnkey Event Management Service for the organisation of 2 public events and work with communities in North Pembrokeshire as part of the project Ancient Connections (www.ancientconnections.org) a cross-border arts and heritage programme linking County Wexford and Pembrokeshire. The appointed contractor will work with Ancient Connections project team (AC Team), schools, community groups and stakeholders to organise and produce two unique and awe-inspiring events, which will connect local people and visitors to the stories of these special Celtic regions, Pembrokeshire and Wexford. This could include the legends of St David and St Aidan, medieval pilgrimage, knights, kings and powerful women as well as drawing on the rich pool of community folklore stories that are emerging from the wider project. These two events will create a greater sense of identity and place amongst the people involved and greater awareness of the cross-border stories that link the two regions.
