Tender description

West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority (The Authority) are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers for an upcoming opportunity to provide Gas Monitors and associated equipment under a National Framework Agreement for the Blue Light Sector.   Establishing a national framework agreement will mean that all Blue Light Sectors in England; Scotland; Wales; Northern Ireland; the States of Jersey; Guernsey and Isle of Man; could have one route to market for the purchase of Gas Monitors. Gas monitoring is essential to the safety of Firefighters, Police Officers, EMT's and Paramedics. How to detect, identify and monitor harmful substances is key to determine the levels of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and risk to Firefighters, Police Officers, EMT's, Paramedics and the public.  To express an interest in this framework agreement please complete the attached form and email to procurement@wmfs.net.
