Elmbridge Borough Council is approaching the market seeking grounds maintenance contract for their green spaces, across locations Borough wide. The contract is scheduled to commence 1 September 2022. This opportunity is being split into four distinct yet related lots. To be considered for each lot, suppliers are expected to visit sites prior to submitting a detailed response to ensure they satisfy themselves with details and submit an innovative, sustainable response that could ensure compliance and value for money. Bidders can bid for 1,2,3 or all 4 lots; • Lot 1 Grounds maintenance services for green spaces. • Lot 2 Grounds maintenance services for cemeteries and closed churchyards• Lot 3 Play Area Inspection and Maintenance• Lot 4 Grounds maintenance services for Highways Gardens Lot 1: Ground Maintenance Services for Green Spaces Grounds maintenance services for green spaces. Grounds maintenance services to include Grass and meadow maintenance, sports pitch maintenance, bin collection, leaf collection, seasonal flower displays and shrub and hedge maintenance for Elmbridge Green Spaces including Recreation Grounds, Open Spaces, Countryside sites, Amenity Grounds and small sites. Lot 2: Ground Maintenance Services for cemeteries and closed church yards Grounds maintenance services for cemeteries and closed churchyards Grounds maintenance services to include grass cutting, bin collection, leaf collection, seasonal flower displays and shrub and hedge maintenance for 17 cemeteries and closed churchyards. Lot 3: Play area inspection and maintenance Play Area Inspection and Maintenance – Routine (daily weekday) and Operational inspection and maintenance of 37 play facilities to include Play Areas, Skate Parks and Green Gyms. Lot 4: Ground Maintenance Services for Highways Gardens Grounds maintenance services for Highways Gardens – Grounds maintenance of Highway Gardens (not highway verges) to include litter, leaf clearance, seasonal flower displays and shrub and hedge maintenance. £82,000 per annum
