Tender description

Denbighshire County Council is inviting tenders for a Contract for the provision of sorting, processing and recycling of commingled dry recyclate arising in the county to include the haulage services of the material from two waste transfer stations within the county. Tenders are invited to provide for the haulage, receiving, processing, sorting and recycling of the Council’s commingled dry recyclate. The indicative annual quantities of recyclate under this Contract are as follows:- First 15 months: - Feb 2021 to Jan 2022: 11,500 to 12,600 tonnes (750t to 950t per month) - May 2021 to July 2021: 1500 tonnes - May to July: A reduction in tonnage from a maximum of 900t to zero tonnes per month is expected as the Council move away from a comingled service to a source segregated system. The actual waste inputs are dependent upon the level and timing of recycling initiatives introduced by the Council and on the growth or reduction of waste collected throughout the Contract Period. Tenderers should note that the quantities are indicative only and the Council cannot guarantee the quantities of Waste under this Contract. However, exclusivity to all Council collected fully co-mingled recycling is given to the successful bidder.
