Tender description

Slough Borough Council intends to enter into contracts with operators of digital advertising infrastructure to licence (or other property agreement) some of the Council's property for the purpose of the provision of digital advertising infrastructure. The Council wishes to engage with potential operators at a market engagement event via Microsoft Teams on 17th December 2021. At the meeting the Council will: 1) Explain the opportunity to interested parties 2) Set out its intended timelines 3) Show operators the potential sites as identified by the Council 4) Seek discussion with operators on potential forms of contract 5) Seek discussion with operators on potential commercial models 6) Seek discussion with operators on durations of agreements Suppliers are requested to register for the event by emailing craig.lorne@slough.gov.uk This advertisement replaces the cancelled previous advertisement. Since that cancellation, the Council has: 1) Obtained the necessary permissions from the Cabinet 2) Develop and had agreed a policy regarding digital advertising 3) Identified and prioritised up to 70 sites for commercial operators to licence The Council is therefore now in a position to proceed and has restarted this activity.
