DART+ Coastal - Northern Line Site Investigation - Stage A, Contract 1

Tender description

The site comprises a 38km section of Iarnród Éireann’s (IÉ) Dublin Belfast railway line between Malahide and Drogheda as well as sites at Fairview depot, Howth Junction station, Clongriffin station, Malahide station and Drogheda station and depot. The ground investigation will be undertaken on IÉ property, public property and private lands. The scope of the ground investigation comprises, but is not limited to, trial pits, cable percussive (CP), rotary core (RC) and follow-on rotary coring (RC) boreholes, structural coring of bridge abutments, track bed investigations and geophysical surveys. The investigation also includes in situ testing, sampling, geotechnical and geo-environmental laboratory testing, groundwater monitoring and factual reporting including electronic data (AGS). Archaeology monitoring along with ecology specialists, specialist heritage contractor will be required for certain activities. The DART+ Coastal Site Investigation (SI) Framework (PW-CF9) will be established on the basis of this tender competition
