Contract for the Provision of Refuse Collection Vehicles

Tender description

Lincolnshire County Council is in the process of planning the procurement of the next iteration of its successful Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV) supply framework. The contract will go live in summer 2022 and will cover local authorities within Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. The current framework has been a single supplier arrangement , and has seen 12 authorities purchase over 130 RCVs during its 4 year term. As part of the process the Council is keen to engage with the supplier market to help finalise the scope and particulars of the framework offering. As part of its pre market engagement strategy, the Council is offering a short window for interested suppliers to engage in virtual 1-1 meetings with the Council or to submit a response to a written questionnaire. Following market engagement, it is anticipated the Council will utilise either the Restricted or Open procedure to invite interested candidates to tender for the opportunity. The Council will likely look to appoint a single contractor to provide RCVs for eligible authorities within Lincolnshire and Yorkshire for a 4 year period.
