Appointment of an Architect/Engineer-Led Design Team for Mallow Swimming Pool Upgrade

Cork County Council (The Client) requires a Consultant Architect or Engineer-Led Design Team for the preparation, planning and detailed design for the upgrade of Mallow Town Municipal Swimming Pool, for which Part 8 Planning has already been obtained, comprising the construction of a new two storey extension to the front, a new multi-purpose room and steamroom extension to the rear, the extension of the main pool hall by half a bay, reconfiguration of the existing dressing rooms and reception area, a new changing village fit-out, the upgrading of the building fabric in terms of roofing, insulation and windows and the extensive upgrade of the mechanical and electrical services to the existing building including pool filtration and air handling together with associated external works on a live pool complex site. The Consultant will be responsible for SEAI Grant Applications for the project on behalf of Cork County Council and the completed development must be Complaint with the Climate Action Plan 2021, Securing Our Future, and the relevant targets set out as issued by the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications and current at the time.
