<p>The Government of Jersey, Higher Education Department, Health and Community Services are seeking to partner with a partnering University as a &lsquo;remote campus&rsquo;. It is envisaged that the successful bidder would support the on-island team of Programme Leads/Senior Lecturers/Teaching Fellows with the provision of honorary contracts to ensure access to resources e.g. access to Moodle, Blackboard or similar eLearning platforms and library resources, academic journals, eBooks; that are required to support the delivery of a range of modules/awards on island. The Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional Higher Education Department (HED) sits in the Chief Nurse Division of Health and Community Services (HCS), this enables the direct alignment of higher education provision to the workforce planning needs. It is a dedicated Education Centre that has been on site for over 40 years. The Higher Education Department staff are employees of HCS. The department has been providing an undergraduate education programme for the past 18 years and postgraduate for the past 7 years.
