Tender description

As part of its response strategy to ash die back, the Council maintains funds to provide free trees to owners of land within Leicestershire to counteract tree loss. The Council is seeking to procure suppliers to fulfil this requirement. The Contract will be split into two lots: Lot 1 – Supply of standards for landscape conservation schemes Lot 2 – Supply of Selected Standards, Heavy Standards and Extra Heavy Standards for general landscape and highways schemes. Containerised Note that the requirement for Lot 2 is less immediate and purchasing tends to be planned in advance, whereas Lot 1 is an immediate requirement to satisfy the Council’s “Free Tree” scheme.
